HELLO 2017!

Since January 2016 I feel like I've matured and really changes my perspective on life. An year ago from today I would consider myself a less thankful person. I now veiw everything that happens to me as a gift and I now realize what my priorities are. I also understand now that i should enjoy my youth and not put all my attention to the things that might or might not happen in the future. Now that i feel like i have matured I strive to discover most of my talents and use them to my fullest potential.

Emerson For The Young Bucks

I know you've heard this before, but here it goes again. Be yourself. Emerson wants us to be who we really are and not what our friends or classmates want us to be. He uses really complicated words to explain that generic idea, and it actually makes it work. Its like a song, sure its under the same genre but it still sounds completely different and that's what makes it special. Emerson uses all of these things to help the reader understand that we can not be afraid to say what we're thinking.

EMERSON SAID IT

1. "Malice and vanity wear the coat of Philanthropy" - This quote came up in the conversation today, because it gives us a different perspective of why some people can justify even the things society considers terrible. 2."Nothing can bring you peace, but the triumph of principles" - This quote may have been referenced, because it can support Emerson's main idea that we should not follow the guidelines society puts on us but rather be self-reliant and follow our own principles. 3."In every work of genius we recognize our own rejected thoughts: they come back to us with a certain alienated majesty" - This quote is very important, because this helps the reader realize the fallacy, still present today, in society and even in myself. 4."Ne te quaesiveris extra" - This is very important, because it talks about to look within ourselves, which is basically the main idea Emerson's essay argues. 5."The world has been instructed by its kings, who have so magnetized the eyes of nations" - This quote is important, because Emerson explains how we are not being ourselves but much rather want to be the people who society makes superior.

My American Voice

I was recently watching an episode of "The Office" and in that episode a worker reported his boss, because he made some stereotypical comments. This is a perfect representation of the American right to speak up. I believe that not being able to use that right is obscured. I've acknowledged that school has ripped that right out of teachers hands. It is important to speak up ,because it gives a sense of direction to the people who are blind from what is happening around them. It also give the ignorant a different perspective of things.

When it comes to the elections of this year many people can anticipate these two candidates to surely accuse each other from doings of the past. Each canadate tries to remain stolid but Hilary definitely outbeats trump. It's aggravating because trump and Hilary are constantly sticking their proboscis into everyone's business and venomously attacking each other. With each debate America is left suspended to watch the next one just to see the two yell at each other. Both Candidates try to hypnotize the world into thinking their fit to be president trying to prove that they can transform this world into something greater, but they simply just illuminate each other's faults.

A HUG IS NEARLY A GUN SPELLED BACKWARD

“Personal relationships are the fertile soil from which all advancement, all success, all achievement in real life grows.” Ben Stein. I personally agree with E.M. Forster’s idea that states personal relationships more important than causes or patriotism. Applying the importance of personal relations can prevent cultural or racial division and remedy the lack of cooperation between people to have an advancement to either already great ideas or the resolution of issues. These are just some of many that support the decision of making personal relations more significant than patriotism or causes. One reason why personal relationships are more important than causes or patriotism is that personal relationships can impede racial and cultural division. For example, when i went to a cultural festival at my church no one was patriotic about culture which helped everyone, including myself, learn and enjoy other cultures. Although patriotism can be great when it comes to loving and learning where you came from it can pass a certain breadth which leads to ignorance and racism. Certainly this is just one of many examples of why personal relationships are more important than patriotism. In addition to proving that personal relationships are more important than patriotism is that personal relationships help us cooperate to make ideas better or resolve issues. This is true, because when we bring two or more perspectives we have new ways of approaching the issue or idea. It might be true that patriotism can give us confidence in what we believe in, but arrogance can subside that pride. In conclusion, E.M. Forster stating that personal relationships are more important than patriotism is something i strongly agree with. I acknowledge that personal relationships are more important, because it helps is improve and brings cultures closer to one another. Is your loyalty to your friend more important than your loyalty to your country, race, culture, or ethnicity? I'm really sorry if this makes no sense.
